Discover the technique of sculpting onto a wheel-thrown mug to create a truly unique and functional piece of art that you can cherish and keep for many years to come. This method not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of your mug but also allows for personal expression in your ceramic creations. Students are invited to create whatever they like with their mug and will be guided through the process.

What you will learn:

• Sculpting and hand building techniques (wheel thrown mug is provided to work on through out the workshop)

• Finishing touches & smooth details

• Affixing handles

• Students can choose their glaze color during the class. I will handle the glazing and firing, which is included in the ticket price. Finished pieces can be picked up or mailed at your cost 4-6 weeks after the workshop.
