Get your hands messy and join me Alex of Bless This Mess Ceramics in the Margaret River AAA Galleries for an immersive and detailed pottery workshop. You will be introduced to the basics of hand building with clay to create a pinch pot mug and how to sculpt breasts onto your mug.
As your teacher I encourage total creative freedom whilst still guiding you through all the steps to create your piece.
You will also be able to have your mug fired and glazed if you wish for an extra $10
What you will learn:
How roll clay into coils for hand building
The pinch pot method to starting hollow vessels
Using paddles and other pottery tools to sculpt
Joining coils to form structure
How to sculpt clay into breasts, bums, tummies and legs
